Miss Lucy’s Restaurant is situated on St. John's southeastern shore line in the United States Virgin Islands. Set amidst 35 lush tropical acres, this St. John destination overlooks the emerald and blue waters of Friis Bay and Caribbean Sea. From our beachfront, views of Leduck Island, Flanagan Island, Pelican Island, Peter Island, Norman Island, and Tortola are the highlight of any visit.
The concept for Miss Lucy’s Restaurant was born in the 1960’s. Lucy A. Matthias-Smith-Prince (February 18, 1916 ~ September 28, 2007), known affectionately to her family as 'Mama Lucy', started out on the bayside preparing and serving Fish, Souse, Sugar Cakes, and brick oven backed breads and tarts. Mama Lucy naturally dreamed of extending her skills beyond the bay and always wanted a larger place for hosting growing family gatherings. Members of the family responded by building a family compound for hosting gatherings and sharing the beauty of Friis Bay with St. John locals & visitors. To this day the restaurant is family owned and run.
Located two miles south from Centerline Road (Route 10) into Friis Bay, Coral Bay, Miss Lucy’s has the ideal Caribbean island cuisine, destination and breathtaking views from each table our guests choose. Come to Miss Lucy's Restaurant for our great food and drink. But most of all, come to enjoy the destination.
